Pros: The base salary for a Marketing Specialist is pretty decent, especially if you're remote on the East Coast. I've heard some big tech companies pay more, but it's competitive enough for a mid-size company. They do match 401k up to 4% which is a solid perk.
Cons: Healthcare plans are really expensive, and the deductible is high. PTO isn't great either; only 15 days which feels low for the industry. There aren't many extra perks or bonuses for marketing roles either.
Advice to Management: Look into more affordable healthcare options and maybe increase PTO for long-term employees. It'd help with retention in our competitive industry.
