Pros: The best part of my role at HYPERHUG was the exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies and the opportunity to work on challenging problems. The engineering team is comprised of bright individuals, and there’s a real sense of camaraderie. We often collaborated effectively on complex projects within the AI customer service domain.
Cons: While there are opportunities to learn, formal career paths and clear progression frameworks weren't always well-defined, which made it difficult to gauge advancement. Some project timelines could be ambitious, leading to occasional high-pressure periods, especially for a remote software engineering role.
Advice to Management: Consider developing more structured career development plans and clearer promotion criteria for technical roles. Providing more visibility into long-term project roadmaps would also help engineers manage expectations and workload.
