Pros: I really enjoyed my time as a Software Engineer at Gridium. The engineering team is full of smart people who are passionate about building great products. We worked on challenging projects that allowed for significant skill development. The company culture is collaborative and generally supportive, with a decent level of work flexibility, especially given the remote setup. It's a good place to grow your technical skills in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Cons: While the pay was acceptable, it wasn't outstanding compared to other tech companies in the industry, particularly for the level of responsibility. The benefits package, while functional, felt a bit basic and could be enhanced to better compete for top talent. Sometimes the project timelines felt a bit aggressive, which could put pressure on the team.
Advice to Management: Consider enhancing the benefits package and reviewing compensation benchmarks to ensure competitiveness, especially for experienced engineers. More predictable project scopes would also help manage workload.
