Pros: The core team I work with is fantastic; we collaborate well and help each other out, which makes getting through challenging projects much easier. I've learned a lot about trading software and backend development since joining. The flexibility to work remotely is also a huge plus for my work-life balance, and management generally trusts us to get our jobs done.
Cons: While the company isn't unstable, there have been periods of uncertainty regarding project direction which can affect job security perceptions. Communication about long-term strategy or significant shifts could be more transparent. Sometimes, approvals for minor decisions can feel a bit slow, especially when working remotely.
Advice to Management: Improve transparency around company strategy and project roadmaps to enhance employee confidence in job security. Streamline approval processes where possible, especially for remote teams.
