Pros: The best part of working at Forge is the people. My team consists of incredibly talented and supportive individuals who are always willing to help each other out. I've learned a lot, especially on the backend development side, and have been able to pick up new skills. Management is approachable, and there's a genuine effort to foster a collaborative environment. The company offers a good degree of autonomy in your role.
Cons: While leadership is generally well-intentioned, communication about strategic shifts or major project changes can sometimes be a bit slow to trickle down. This can occasionally lead to confusion or rework. Also, during peak project cycles, the workload can become quite demanding, impacting work-life balance temporarily. Some approval processes can also feel a bit bureaucratic.
Advice to Management: Improve transparency and speed up communication regarding strategic decisions and project changes. Streamline some approval processes to reduce bottlenecks during busy periods.
