Pros: Working as a First Shift Palletizer in the manufacturing side of the printing industry at Quad, I really value the teamwork. Everyone on my shift in Franklin, WI, is pretty helpful and we work well together to meet production goals. There's a good sense of camaraderie, which makes the long shifts fly by. The job itself is consistent, offering good job security in the production field, and the schedule is predictable which helps with personal planning. I also appreciate the effort put into
Cons: While the company culture is generally positive, sometimes communication from upper management about changes or new processes could be clearer or more timely. There are times when the workload as a Palletizer gets really heavy, especially during peak seasons in the printing industry, and it feels like we could use more support staff. Career progression opportunities within the First Shift Palletizer role aren't always immediately clear, but I know there are paths for those who seek them out
Advice to Management: Keep nurturing the positive team atmosphere on the production floor. Better communication from leadership regarding upcoming changes would be greatly appreciated by the First Shift Palletizers, helping us adapt smoothly. Consider reviewing staffing levels during peak periods in our Franklin, WI

Pros: Quad offers great job security and a stable work environment, which is a big plus in the printing industry. As a Marketing Specialist, I've had chances to work on diverse projects and collaborate with many talented people across different departments. The company has a strong presence in marketing services, and there are definitely paths to learn and expand your skillset if you seek them out.
Cons: While career growth is possible, it can sometimes feel a bit regimented or slow-moving, especially for specialized roles. Getting that next promotion or stepping into a new area often requires a lot of patience and persistence. Pay increases can also be modest, and navigating internal opportunities might take time and effort.
Advice to Management: Continue to foster clear communication channels for career development and consider more consistent, proactive mentorship programs to help employees navigate growth paths effectively.

I've gained valuable skills in the printing process and digital production here at this global marketing solutions company. There's a real sense of camaraderie that makes coming to work enjoyable most days, really defining the positive company culture.
Cons: During busy periods, the workload for a Production Associate can get intense, leading to longer hours. Communication on production schedule changes could be clearer, helping with planning. It's a common challenge in the printing industry when deadlines are tight, but improvement would be great.
Advice to Management: Continue fostering the strong team environment and invest more in cross-training to better manage peak workloads and support career growth.
