ProActivate is second to none in the market for talent acquisition and executive recruiting.
We offer a best-in-class talent acquisition model that uses precise in-depth methodology and behavior modeling to qualify talent. With rigorous simulation and evaluation of mindset and skillset, we’re able to offer only the most qualified working and winning professionals.
Our fees are fixed, not based on compensation. Because ProActivate’s talent managers are not paid based on placement, they are not coaching candidates on what to say to get hired. Their focus stays fixed firmly on ensuring your company gains only top talent.
We’re unique because we create a talent-acquisition strategy and use our in-depth customized qualification process to qualify candidates. If you’re not happy with one of our candidates, we provide additional qualified candidates for the role until the hire is achieved.

Pros: The team here at ProActivate in St Joseph, MO is fantastic. Everyone is willing to help each other out, which makes tackling challenges much easier. The company culture encourages continuous learning, and I've picked up a lot of valuable skills in my role as a Sales Representative. Plus, the work flexibility is a real benefit; they understand people have lives outside of work.
Cons: The pay and benefit structure could be a bit more competitive, especially when compared to other opportunities in the wider business services sector. Sometimes, leadership communication can be a bit unclear, leading to occasional confusion on project priorities. While there are growth paths, they feel a little slow-moving at times.
Advice to Management: Consider enhancing benefits and clarifying leadership directives to boost team morale and efficiency further. Regular town halls would be great.

Pros: I really appreciate the remote work setup. It gives me a lot of flexibility to manage personal appointments. For a Recruitment Consultant, that's a huge plus. My manager doesn't micromanage my schedule, which helps with work-life balance.
Cons: Sometimes the pressure to hit targets is high. This can lead to long hours, especially at month-end. It's just how the recruiting industry goes sometimes. It's not a consistent 40-hour week.
Advice to Management: Try to find ways to balance targets with employee well-being more consistently. Acknowledging when things get hectic helps.

Pros: You'll learn the ropes fast as a Recruiting Coordinator here. It's a solid introduction to the recruiting agency world, especially for understanding different sales and marketing roles. They do a good job with initial training.
Cons: Career growth felt pretty stagnant after a year or so. There aren't many clear paths to advance, and internal promotions for talent acquisition professionals are rare. It's tough to move up if you're not in a revenue-generating role.
Advice to Management: Create more defined career paths for your recruiting coordinator and talent acquisition teams. Invest in internal promotions instead of always hiring externally for senior roles.
