Pros: The remote-first culture at PostHog is excellent. We have a lot of flexibility and trust to manage our own schedules, which really helps with work-life balance. The engineering team is highly skilled and collaborative, always willing to help out. It's a fantastic place to learn and grow, especially if you're interested in product analytics and open-source contributions. The mission to build a better product analytics tool is compelling.
Cons: As with many startups, the pace can be intense, and sometimes priorities shift quickly. While pay is competitive, the benefits package could be more robust compared to larger tech companies. Sometimes communication across distributed teams can be challenging if not managed proactively. More structured onboarding for new remote hires could also be beneficial.
