Pros: The best part of working at Ledge has to be the collaborative team environment. Everyone is generally willing to help out, which made my onboarding as a junior developer much smoother. I've had opportunities to learn new technologies and contribute to meaningful projects within the SaaS sector. The remote work flexibility is also a significant plus, allowing for a good work-life balance.
Cons: My main concern is around clearer pathways for career advancement. While learning is encouraged, it's not always obvious how to progress to the next level or what specific skills are prioritized for promotion. Sometimes, during crunch times for product releases, the workload can feel a bit overwhelming, impacting work-life balance slightly, but this is typical in software development.
Advice to Management: It would be beneficial to implement more structured career progression frameworks and provide clearer expectations for employees aiming for advancement. Consider better workload distribution or resource allocation during critical project phases.
