Pros: EGSA do Brasil offers valuable hands-on experience, particularly within the Brazilian infrastructure and energy consulting sector. I appreciated the exposure to diverse projects and the collaborative spirit among colleagues. There's a genuine willingness to mentor junior engineers, which aids in skill development and understanding project lifecycles. The company offers a stable environment for professionals.
Cons: While teamwork is a strength, some project timelines can feel rushed, leading to increased workload during peak phases. Communication channels, especially from higher management to project teams, could be clearer to ensure alignment. Certain approval processes also felt a bit bureaucratic and slowed down progress on critical tasks.
Advice to Management: Consider streamlining internal communication to ensure project teams are consistently aligned with company objectives and leadership decisions. Enhancing transparency around decision-making processes would also be beneficial.

Pros: The best part about EGSA do Brasil is definitely the project diversity. As an Automation Engineer, I got to work on complex systems for various industrial clients, which was great for skill-building. The collegial atmosphere among the engineering teams in Jaguariúna is strong; everyone's willing to help out. I also appreciated the company's commitment to reliable project delivery, a core aspect of our work in industrial automation services.
Cons: While the work is stimulating, career advancement feels quite slow. There aren't always clear pathways for promotion, and opportunities for specialized training or formal professional development courses are limited. The compensation package is fair, but it doesn't quite match what some larger international firms in the São Paulo region might offer for similar roles. This is a key area where improvement would be beneficial for retaining talent.
Advice to Management: Consider implementing more structured career development plans and investing in continuous training programs for technical staff to enhance retention and growth.

I gained valuable hands-on experience and saw firsthand how projects are managed from start to finish. The job security felt stable, which was a big plus.
Cons: While learning is encouraged, career progression sometimes felt a bit slow. There were also instances where inter-departmental communication could have been more efficient, leading to minor delays. For a junior role, sometimes more autonomy in decision-making would have been beneficial.
