Pros: The health insurance plans are actually pretty good for a mid-sized tech firm in Austin, TX. There's a decent 401k match too, which helps a bit with financial planning for technical roles like mine.
Cons: Base salary compensation for a Cloud Engineer is definitely below market rate compared to other cloud services companies. We don't get performance bonuses or stock options, so overall pay feels stagnant.
Advice to Management: Review the compensation structure for all technical roles, especially Cloud Engineers. Being competitive with salaries will help retain talent in the Austin, TX market.
