Pros: The core mission of supporting sustainable development in emerging markets is incredibly fulfilling. I've had great opportunities for professional growth, working on diverse projects and expanding my knowledge in impact investing. The team environment is generally collaborative, and the work-life balance is quite good, allowing for personal time alongside demanding responsibilities. It's a unique role within the Finnish financial industry.
Cons: While the work is purposeful, internal processes sometimes feel a bit bureaucratic, which can slow down project execution. Communication between certain departments could also be more streamlined. Occasionally, the workload can spike, requiring extra effort, but this is usually managed well with support from colleagues.
Advice to Management: Continue fostering the strong mission-driven culture. Consider streamlining some internal approval processes to boost efficiency and ensure agile project delivery.
