Pros: The best part of working at Facility Grid was definitely the people. My immediate colleagues were supportive and genuinely enjoyable to collaborate with, especially in the product development team. There's a real sense of camaraderie, and tackling challenges together felt achievable. The industry itself, focused on facility management solutions, is also quite interesting and impactful.
Cons: While the team is great, upper management's communication could be more consistent and transparent. There were times when strategic pivots felt sudden or lacked clear rationale, which made planning difficult. Also, clear career progression frameworks for roles like mine weren't always defined, leaving some uncertainty about future growth opportunities within the company.
Advice to Management: Focus on clearer, more consistent communication about strategic direction and decision-making processes. Developing defined career ladders would greatly benefit employee retention and motivation.
