Pros: The team at CableCom, LLC is fantastic and very collaborative, which makes daily work much more enjoyable. I've gained significant experience in telecommunications and broadband installation, which has been great for my career development. The management here is generally supportive, and I appreciate the company culture that values teamwork. There's a real sense of purpose in connecting communities.
Cons: While work-life balance is generally good, there are definitely periods, especially during large-scale fiber optic deployment projects, where the workload can get pretty intense. It can occasionally make balancing personal time a bit tricky for Field Operations Coordinators. Also, I think communication between different project teams could be a little more streamlined.
Advice to Management: Continue to prioritize internal communication across all departments, especially when coordinating complex projects in the telecommunications industry. Investing in tools or processes to help manage peak workloads could further enhance the work-life balance for roles like Field Operations

Pros: I appreciate the consistent job security CableCom provides. The work itself is engaging, and I've learned a lot about network infrastructure and customer service. My colleagues are generally great, making the team environment a real positive. It's a solid place if you're looking for steady employment in the utilities and telecommunications field, with opportunities to develop hands-on technical skills.
Cons: The main drawback has been managing work-life balance, especially with rotating on-call schedules that can be unpredictable. Sometimes, project demands mean long days, and weekend work, though compensated, can disrupt personal time. Improved predictability in scheduling would be beneficial for many on the team.
Advice to Management: Consider implementing more structured and predictable scheduling for on-call rotations. Exploring options for staggered shifts could also help improve work-life balance for field technicians without sacrificing service coverage.

My team is incredibly supportive, always willing to help out. I've gained valuable skills in cable installation and troubleshooting, and the job security in the telecommunications industry is solid.
Cons: Career advancement can feel a bit slow sometimes; it takes a while to move up. Also, the legacy systems can be clunky, and that slows down paperwork.
Advice to Management: Focus on streamlining the promotion path for experienced technicians and updating some of the older internal software systems to improve efficiency.
