Through our two programs, Better Families and Better Work, we equip individuals and families to succeed.
Better Families protects children and preserves families by connecting them to safe and compassionate volunteers. This voluntary program is a preventative service which offers families in crisis the support needed to avoid foster care.

Cons: My main challenges revolved around sometimes outdated internal systems and a lack of consistent funding for program expansion, which could lead to stretched resources. This occasionally impacted efficiency and the ability to take on new initiatives. Professional development opportunities, while present, could be more structured and readily available for all roles within the non-profit sector.
Advice to Management: Continue investing in updated technology and streamline processes to enhance operational efficiency. More proactive career pathing discussions would also benefit employee retention and growth.
