Supportive Culture for IT Consultants
Pros: The company culture at NLB Services is really collaborative. As an IT Consultant, I've had the chance to work with some great people, and there's a strong emphasis on teamwork and knowledge sharing, which is excellent for career growth. The Atlanta, GA team is very supportive, making it easy to adapt to new projects in the IT staffing industry.
Cons: Sometimes, communication could be a bit smoother, especially regarding internal processes or upcoming project transitions. As a global IT consulting firm, there can be a slight delay in getting approvals for certain things, which can occasionally impact project timelines or personal planning.
Advice to Management: Continue fostering the strong team culture that makes NLB Services a great place to work. Consider streamlining some of the internal administrative processes to improve efficiency for consultants. Clearer and more proactive communication around project changes would also be beneficial.

Decent IT Services Experience with Room for Growth
Pros: The best part about working at NLB Services was the people I worked with, both colleagues and managers. There was a strong sense of teamwork, and people were always willing to help each other out, especially when dealing with client-facing issues. The company also provided a good level of flexibility for an IT services role, allowing for some hybrid work arrangements which was appreciated. I gained valuable experience on different projects, exposing me to various technical challenges and
Cons: My main concern revolved around career progression and compensation. While the base salary was competitive for entry-level IT roles, significant pay raises or promotions felt hard to come by without moving to a new client or role externally. It sometimes felt like growth was dictated more by contract availability than by developing internal talent. Additionally, communication from upper leadership regarding long-term company strategy or departmental changes could sometimes be inconsistent,
Advice to Management: Focus on creating clearer internal career paths and transparent promotion criteria. Consider enhancing the benefits package and offering more structured professional development opportunities to retain talent.

Decent Flexibility, But Depends on Your Manager
Pros: I've liked the hybrid model they have, usually 3 days in office. It's nice to have some remote work options as a Technical Recruiter. The company is pretty solid about respecting work hours if your clients aren't demanding.
Cons: Flexibility can be a real hit or miss here, especially with client demands. Some teams have more rigid schedules, making true work-life balance tough. It's not a fully remote environment, so don't expect 100% WFH if that's what you need.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize flexibility policies across all teams, even with varying client demands. Give managers more tools to support a better work-life balance for all Technical Recruiters.
