Under Jo Bamford’s leadership, Wrightbus is embarking on a new trajectory of innovation and environmental awareness. Just as with our Hydrogen bus, we’re applying new energy solutions to help our vehicles meet their zero-emission targets. We are also creating more green economy UK jobs across our UK centric supply chain for our zero-emission buses.

Pros: I've really enjoyed the collaborative team environment here. Everyone, from the shop floor to management, works together to hit production targets for our innovative zero-emission buses. As a Manufacturing Engineer, I've had opportunities to work on interesting projects, optimizing processes and implementing new technologies within the automotive industry. The focus on green transport is genuinely inspiring, and it feels like we're contributing to something important in Northern Ireland's manufacturing sector. There's good technical challenge and learning.
Cons: While things are stable now, the company's past history of financial challenges does create some underlying concerns about job security, especially during economic downturns. It's improved significantly since the acquisition, but that perception can be hard to shake for some employees in the manufacturing sector. Sometimes, communication about long-term strategic plans could be clearer to help alleviate these worries. Workload can also be intense when we have tight production deadlines for new bus models.
