Pros: The best part about Network to Code is the exposure to cutting-edge networking automation technologies and practices. You get hands-on experience with tools like Ansible, Python, and Git in a real-world enterprise environment. The culture encourages learning and collaboration, and many colleagues are very willing to share knowledge, which really helped my technical development in the infrastructure sector. Being a remote role within the US also added great flexibility.
Cons: The rapid growth, while beneficial for opportunities, can sometimes lead to a feeling of being stretched thin. Project timelines can be aggressive, and sometimes there's a lack of clear, long-term strategic direction which can make prioritization challenging. Communication between different teams could also be streamlined to improve project flow and reduce overlap. I've seen some turnover in project management roles.
Advice to Management: Continue fostering a culture of learning and collaboration. Investing more in clear project roadmaps and cross-departmental communication would greatly enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
