About the Company
This company is building the "Accountant for Startups" — a suite of integrated products to automate the financial processes of starting, running, and selling a business in the UK. The founding team previously built, scaled, and sold a technology company for $50M, and started this venture to solve the problems they faced during that process.
Why join?
A small, rapidly growing team of 50 people (18 in engineering & product, 6 in sales & marketing). Their previous venture scaled to 12M users and was successfully acquired in 2022.
Since launching in May 2024, they already have 900+ clients, £2.5M ARR, and are growing quickly. In December 2025 they raised a £7.5M seed round. This is an opportunity to join at an early stage.
The founders have been named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. The team has experience at Morgan Stanley, HSBC, the Financial Times, and Forward Partners.
What technological problems are they solving?
Software that accounting firms currently run on is extremely outdated and disjointed, resulting in costly, error-prone manual work. They're building integrated products to automate 90% of accounting firm workflows across payments, open banking, payroll, and automated bookkeeping.
Tech stack
TypeScript monorepo with lambdas on the backend, deployed on AWS. Frontend is a Next.js app split into micro frontends, deployed on Vercel. Jest and Playwright for tests.
Culture & ways of working
Agile, with 4-week product cycles followed by a 1-week cooldown for tech debt and planning. Daily standups, Linear for project management.
