Company Overviews

Recruitment fees have been a percentage of salary for decades. The fee went up with the pay packet. The work stayed the same. The tools for finding people have come a long way since the 90s. The fees haven't.
Workvine charges for the work as it is now.
We're an independent recruitment technology and services business based in Hinckley, Leicestershire, working with companies across the UK. We help businesses hire well without the agency-sized bill, and without handing over a slice of every salary.
Three ways we do that:
Fixed Fee Recruitment — the full agency process for one price agreed up front. We write the advert, source actively, screen every applicant, run structured video interviews, build the shortlist and support you through to offer. One fixed fee, invoiced on go-live. No percentage, no success fee, no escalator. Typically 14 to 28 days to hire.
DIY Recruitment — self-serve job advertising on a pay-and-post model. One credit puts your branded advert in front of around ten UK job boards at once. No contract, no subscription, no minimum term.
Talentvine — our applicant tracking system, for companies that recruit regularly and run hiring in-house. Multi-board posting, applicant tracking, automated candidate responses and hiring manager tools.
We use smart tools to work faster behind the scenes. But AI never talks to your candidates and never decides who gets hired. Every screening conversation is a real person on a video call.

Solid learning environment with room for leadership improvement
Pros: I really appreciated the opportunities to work on diverse projects and collaborate with talented colleagues. The team environment was generally very supportive, which made the day-to-day enjoyable. There's a definite emphasis on continuous learning, which helped me develop new skills in cloud technologies. The flexibility afforded by the remote work setup was also a significant benefit.
Cons: While individual contributors are great, leadership could be more cohesive in their vision and communication. Strategy updates sometimes felt reactive rather than proactive, leading to confusion. Project priorities could shift quite suddenly, impacting workload and timelines. Improving transparency and consistency in decision-making would make a big difference for morale.
Advice to Management: Please work on creating a clearer, more consistent long-term strategy and communicate it effectively across all teams. Better alignment in leadership decisions will reduce employee churn and improve overall productivity and morale.
