Pros: The best part about working for SecurePro is definitely the team and the company culture. As an SIA Door Supervisor, you often work with the same crew, and we've built a strong rapport. Everyone watches out for each other, which is crucial in the security industry. Management is generally understanding, and they try to accommodate personal needs regarding shift patterns where possible, offering good work flexibility. I've also learned a lot on the job, expanding my skills in conflict
Cons: Sometimes communication from the top leadership could be clearer about new policies or client changes, especially during busy periods. While there's flexibility, getting specific desired shifts approved can occasionally take a bit longer than expected. Also, while the job security is pretty good, the opportunities for significant career progression beyond supervisor roles aren't always super clear within this particular security company.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving internal communication channels to ensure all SIA Door Supervisors are consistently updated on operational changes. Clarifying the career progression paths for experienced staff would also be beneficial to foster long-term employee retention within the security sector.
