We help people diagnosed with a brain tumour. We aim to give everyone diagnosed access to the resources that will put them back in control. We enable brain tumour patients and carers to become resilient and to utilise brain tumour support resources from all providers to their full potential.
As it is, there are over 55000 people living with a brain tumour in the UK yet brain cancer is an unrecognised clinical problem. It is one of the most lethal human diseases; only 32% of people diagnosed with brain cancer will be alive at the end of the first year following diagnosis. At five years this drops to 14%. Brain cancer is also the most prevalent form of solid tumour in children and the most common cause of cancer death in them.

I appreciate the autonomy.
Cons: While the flexibility is great, sometimes project onboarding can be a bit slow, and communication on initial contract details could be clearer to avoid minor hiccups. Also, the pay and benefits structure, while decent for contract work, doesn't quite match what some full-time roles in the AI sector might offer, but that's expected for a talent network. More proactive career pathing guidance would be a bonus.
Advice to Management: Continue to streamline the onboarding process for new projects and perhaps offer more direct support or resources for career development within the platform's network. Clearer communication on compensation structures for different project complexities would also be beneficial for talent.
