Pros: Working at Stack Solutions Group has been pretty solid, especially regarding job security. They have a strong portfolio of long-term clients in the managed IT services and cloud solutions space, which means work is generally consistent. The team environment is collaborative, and I've learned a lot about enterprise IT infrastructure and cybersecurity best practices. There's also a good amount of autonomy in my role as a Senior IT Consultant.
Cons: While there's good job security, career progression can sometimes feel a bit slow. Opportunities for promotion or moving into different technical specializations aren't always clearly defined, and sometimes you have to wait for a specific project need to align with your desired growth path. Communication regarding long-term company strategy could also be more transparent to help employees feel more connected to the bigger picture.
