Pros: The best part about working at Response is definitely the team environment and the benefits package. We have a solid health insurance plan and retirement savings options that feel competitive for a software company. The collaborative atmosphere makes daily tasks more enjoyable, and I appreciate the flexibility afforded to remote employees. There are also some good opportunities to learn new skills within the customer support role.
Cons: While the pay and benefits are good, they don't always feel like they keep pace with the increasing cost of living, especially in the tech sector. Career progression can also feel a bit slow; it's not always clear what the path is to advance beyond the current role, and sometimes approvals for new tools or process improvements take longer than expected. Some team members feel the workload can be heavy during peak periods.
Advice to Management: Consider implementing clearer career paths and more frequent performance reviews to help employees see growth opportunities. Also, streamlining approval processes for necessary tools or software could improve efficiency.

Pros: The best part about working at Response has been the people and the collaborative spirit. My colleagues in the software engineering team are incredibly skilled and always willing to help each other out. There's a strong sense of camaraderie. I also appreciated the flexibility, especially with the hybrid work model, which really helped balance my personal life.
Cons: The main drawback I experienced was around project planning and execution. Sometimes, project scopes felt a bit undefined, leading to rework or shifting priorities. This could be frustrating for the engineering team and impact timelines. Clearer communication from leadership on long-term strategy would also be beneficial.
Advice to Management: Consider refining project management processes to ensure clearer scope and consistent direction. Empowering teams with more strategic foresight would boost efficiency and morale across the board.
