Pros: As a Gameplay Programmer, the base salary here in the Horsham office is decent for the video game industry, especially starting out. We get good private health coverage too, which is a big plus for a UK company. The pension scheme is solid.
Cons: Annual raises aren't always great, and the bonus structure isn't very clear or competitive. I've heard other big studios offer much better equity or stock options, which CA doesn't really do. It makes you feel a bit undervalued sometimes.
Advice to Management: Please review the compensation packages, especially for experienced roles. Making annual raises more consistent and offering more transparent or competitive bonuses/equity would really help with employee retention.
