Job Role Description

A Student Care Facilitator creates a safe and supportive learning environment for students, manages their behaviour, and effectively communicates with parents and stakeholders. He/She is primarily responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times in the Student Care Centre. He/She facilitates and guides children in their daily routines, activities, and programs. He/She is responsible for implementing daily class activities, documenting student activities, progress, and behaviour, tracking student activities, and collaborating with colleagues within student care and from various sectors to support students with specific needs.

As a Student Care Facilitator, he/she builds rapport with parents and serves as the first point-of-contact for parents in all matters related to the child. The ideal candidate is proactive and pre-emptive, striving for an incident-free and accident-free student care centre.

The Student Care Facilitator is also responsible for adapting and implementing age-appropriate lesson and activity plans, and demonstrating excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills. He/She approaches classroom and behaviour management with patience and a positive attitude.

Classroom Management

• Create a safe, stimulating, positive, and supportive learning environment in the classroom

• Provide basic academic support and supervise homework completion daily

A TYPICAL DAY

My day starts at 8am, although like my colleagues, I often arrive earlier to get set up for the day. I am teaching 4 out of a possible 5, 60 minute lessons today across different year groups. The school really supports me in thinking outside the box to creatively develop new and exciting learning opportunities in different learning environments. As it is the start of the year, I am really working hard to learn all the names, make a connection with every learner and build learning-focused relationships. At lunchtime I have a duty in the cafeteria and talk to the learners about their day. The teaching day finishes at 3.25pm and today I am running an after-school activity with technical lego in the Makerspace as this is a passion of mine! After I return the learners to the cafeteria to be picked up, I head back to my learning area to collaborate on some planning, complete some marking and check my emails. I am looking forward to the forthcoming Learning trip and will pop to the nearby shops on the way home to get some equipment ready for the trip.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and optimise digital marketing campaigns across channels like social media, search engines, and email, while also managing content for websites, blogs, and newsletters.
• Implement SEO and SEM strategies to enhance visibility and generate leads, and monitor digital performance metrics to optimise campaign effectiveness.
• Work together with team members to devise marketing strategies, generate, and manage leads, ensuring seamless follow-up in the enrollment process post-lead generation.
• Maintain friendly and positive communication with customers, including leads, parents, and enterprises.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, with at least 1 year of experience in digital marketing, preferably in the education sector.
• Demonstrated ability in using digital marketing tools (e.g.,Facebook Ads Manager, SEO tools, Wix) and managing lead conversion processes effectively.
• Highly proficient in design tools, such as Photoshop etc.
• Creative thinker with excellent interpersonal skills, able to innovate and stay abreast of digital marketing trends and best practices.
• Good interpersonal skills and good team player.
• Meticulous and able to work independently.

Scholastic International Education is recruiting a Product Manager. The position will coordinate between business, content and technology to support the development of educational products. The successful candidate should have a passion for literacy, reading and education, and the desire to develop digital products that build that same passion for reading in children around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with editorial, design, technical and marketing teams to develop industry leading digital instructional programs for primary and secondary schools.
• Communicate with global stakeholders and customers through calls, interviews, surveys and other methods to understand and represent the customer voice throughout the product development process.
• Gather requirements, elaborate and document them as Agile stories, working with Agile teams to turn those requirements into features that support literacy content in digital products.
• Develop and manage project schedules, tracking and reporting on milestones met by internal and external teams.
• Gather and elaborate business requirements for new features and products.
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Collaborate with UX and design teams to develop user experience flows, interactive wire frames and visual designs.
• Monitor defects; perform ad hoc testing, content testing and user acceptance testing.
• Manage updates to customer user guides; support FAQs and other product documentation.
• Support global sales teams and customer service with product knowledge, training and issue follow-up.
• Participate in daily scrum, sprint planning and workshops.

Pre-requisites:

• Bachelor in Technology, with an MBA preferred
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in digital product development
