Duties and Responsibilities

• Be responsible for day-to-day maintenance works (e.g. painting, installation etc.) and cleaning works
• Assist in setting up praying fixtures for the Monastery events
• Provide logistic support when required

Job Specifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Physical fit to carry out manual works
• Able to lift and carry up to 20 kg without assistance
• Able to converse in English and/or Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates)
• Able to work on weekends, public holidays and irregular working hours
• Possess forklift licence/ Experience in replacing floor tiles and/or wall painting will be of an advantage

This role involves providing admin support to ensure the smooth functioning of a Cleaning Company.

Below are the responsibilities:

1. Office Management:

• Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure a well-functioning work environment.
• Coordinate office maintenance and repairs as needed.

2. Data Entry and Record Keeping:

• Input and maintain accurate data in databases, spreadsheets, and other organizational tools.
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic files.

3. Correspondence and Communication:

• Draft and edit emails, memos, letters, and other documents as needed.
• Communicate on behalf of executives as directed.

4. Expense Tracking:

• Assist in tracking and reconciling expenses, including processing reimbursement requests.

5. Research and Reporting:

• Conduct research on various topics and compile information for reports or presentations.
• Prepare routine reports or presentations as requested.

6. Assistance with HR Functions:

• Support HR tasks such as new employee onboarding and maintaining employee records.
• Assist in monthly payroll generations.

7. Confidentiality:

• Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

8. Ad hoc Tasks:

• Assist with miscellaneous tasks and projects as requested by management.
• Adapt to changing priorities and handle unforeseen challenges.

Team player is preferred, to work collaboratively with other administrative staff to ensure smooth operations, to provide support to team members as needed.

This is a part time position from 08 : 30 AM to 13 : 00 PM with a flexible 1 hour lunch break, 5 working days per week from Monday to Friday.

4. Tailor and apply pedagogy that may attend to different learnings of the students
5. Evaluate and provide feedback on students’ performance via assignments and assessments
6. Monitor students’ social development through counselling and working with parents
7. Work with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. parents) to ensure meeting the pastoral and cognitive needs of the students
8. In-charge of at least one co-curricular activity and/or committee
9. Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ teacher meetings and any other school-wide training events
10. Any other duties assigned by the School

• A Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) required
• Passion to teach the age group of students from 13 to 18 years old
