Job summary (F&B Sales Department)

1) Responsible for the sales objectives set by the company.

2) Work cohesively with the F&B Sales team.

Area of responsibilities

1) Sector – Food & Beverage (Cafes, Central Kitchen, Distributors, Restaurants, etc) and Hospitality (Hotels, etc).

2) Achieving the sales target set by the company.

3) Responsible for bringing in new customers and making appointments.

4) Responsible to handle customers enquires, direct marketing and contract review activities.

5) Realising the maximum account potential of company’s customers. (Example: Promote new products, upsell more items).

6) Minimise the incidences of lost customers to competition.

7) Work cohesively with Indoor Product Specialist to increase sales target.

8) To update the company on all customer’s feedback on products / services.

9) Attend to the urgent deliveries requested by the customers.

10) Any other area of responsibilities that the company deems necessary.

Competency requirements

1) Class 3 License.

2) GCE ‘O’ level.

3) Communication skills, Outgoing personality.

4) Prior B2B sales experience.

Working Hours
Monday - Friday : 8 30am - 5 45pm (1 Hour Break)
Saturday: 8 30am - 2 30pm (1 Saturday Shift Every 4 Weeks)

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for leading a team of Sales Account Managers with focus in managing accounts and achieving sales objectives.
• Manages a branch sales program that results in the satisfactory achievement of gross profit, revenue generation, operating expense control, inventory management, on-time delivery performance.
• Provide guidance for sales personnel to manage their sales territories efficiently and effectively to ensure that accounts are appropriately assigned, each sales territory has adequate coverage, and the full potential of each account is determined.
• Develops and direct a productive team of branch sales personnel by hiring, training, and leading by example; and providing ongoing performance management.
• Conducts weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with team to communicate TTI’s vision and measure the effectiveness of sales strategies/tactics for achieving specific sales objectives.
• Develop a good working relationship and rapport with all key suppliers, so as to provide TTI with the competitive edge for future sales growth and market share.
• Maintains market awareness on competitor activities, industry trends

Requirements :

• Degree in Electronics, Business, Marketing, or related field with 10 years’ experience in Electronic Component Industry and 3 years’ experience in management role.
• Possess good people management skills, able to guide, coach and motivate staff to meet sales objectives.
• Strong sales, multi-tasking and time management skills required for the achievement of branch sales objectives.
• Proven track record in successful sales / distribution experience with ability to meet goals and objectives.
• Possesses thorough knowledge and understanding of sales, purchasing, product, vendor, warehousing, branch operations and systems.
• Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, organizational and coaching skills.
• Strong oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills for communicating and building relationships with internal and external customers.
• Must be good in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
• Ability to write reports and prepare presentations to senior management.
• Sales Experience in Philippines and Vietnam will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of DO, Invoices, Quotations and Purchase Orders
• Liaison with Customers, Suppliers and Service Providers
• Preparation of Management Reporting and Maintenance of Office Filing System
• Coordination of Orders Delivery and Logistics Planning with Internal and Production teams
• Any other duties relating to the efficient operations of the Company

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration or related field
• At least 2 years of proven experience in a operations position or its equivalent
• Excellent writing & communication skills, proactive nature and multi-tasking ability
• Excellent ability in problem resolution and conflict management
• Possesses creativity, resourcefulness and meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent organization skill and initiative
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Mandarin speaking is mandatory to communicate with China counterparts

Major Duties & Responsibilities

(A) Specific:

• To achieve growth – Sales and Profit target in Repair & Redecoration / Building Refurbishment markets.

(B) Project Sales:

• Generation of Sales quotation, following up and networking with clients.
• Attend tender interview and Site Showround.
• Presentation to clients such as a Council Members / Managing Agent / Consultants.
• Creation of new accounts through market segment focus.
• Handling customer complaints and provide solution measures.

(C) Costing & Contracts:

• Generation of costing, provide a clear material workings and working margin based on quantity derived from taking off.
• To work closely with contract on taking off items, work scope, demarcation and payment term etc.

(D) Marketing and Public Relations:

• Close monitor tender results.
• Establish good relationship with both clients and suppliers.

(E) Operation:

• Project kick off and detail briefing of job scope during award.
• Site introduction of operation staffs to client upon project award.
• Handle client’s complaint jointly with operation team if any.

(F) Others:

• To attend KPI and Sales Meeting.
• Credit Bureau evaluation and recommendation.
• Other duties as assigned.

(G) Safety:

• Follow the safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.

Job Requirements

(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training:

• Diploma in Marketing or Engineering preferred.

(B) Knowledge & Skills:

• PC literate and knowledge in MS Office.
• Possess cold-calling skill and Power Point presentation skills.
• Outgoing and able to work independently.
• Possess own vehicle and Singapore Class 3 driving license will be added advantage.

(C) Experience:

• Preferably with minimum 2 years relevant working experience in construction related industry.

Manage all Frontline Staff assigned

• Be a Leader to motivate and guide team members in becoming true Shilla Ambassadors
• Assist Retail Manager / Senior Retail Manager on recruitment needs
• Drive sales and work on sales initiatives to maximize sales potentials to achieve sales targets
• Handle all employee disciplinary matters, provide counselling and enforce disciplinary actions
• Ensure compliance of SOPs of selling standards, customer service quality and attitudes, grooming matters and adherence to all established operational policies and procedures
• Handle rostering and manpower planning

Sales Reports and Targets

• Prepare all required sales reports and forecasting for assigned terminal
• Customer Service
• Work closely with Customer Service Team to manage and resolve customer-related feedback

Store Management

• Conduct stock take exercises, monitor stocks, manage inventory levels and replenishment
• Ensure sufficient stocks of products and other requirement items
• Work closely with related Departments to review Visual Merchandising and product display
• Ensure all Incidents in store are duly reported and handled
• Work with Security Team on STEB & LAGS regulations
• Any other duties as per assigned

KEY REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level
• Prior experience in Cosmetic and Perfume sales in a Supervisory capacity, with passion in the industry
• Experience in travel retail background preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a pleasant personality
• Strong customer service mentality, proactive and willing to learn attitude
• Dependable Leader with the proven sales records
• Bilingual, with the ability to speak third language an added advantage
