The Role
As a Field Research Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a team of full-time researchers capturing data that supports CoStar Group products. CoStar Group researchers collect data, research, and imagery on assigned commercial properties to capture the features and highlights of each building. CoStar Group customers rely on our team to offer content that drives real estate transactions.
As a Field Research Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that researchers are always meeting both production and quality standards. Meeting deadlines for our internal clients is a critical part of your responsibilities. Working in the field with each of your researchers throughout the month to ensure best practices are implemented and provide coaching and mentoring is required. This role will be based in market.
Responsibilities:
Build, train, mentor, and coach a growing team of 8-10 professional field researchers.
Daily review of the team’s production measured against KPI metrics.
Spend quality time in the field with local and regional team members to demonstrate best practice with data collection, time management and overall efficiency.
Review incoming data and imagery to determine its quality relative to standards and guidelines.
Provide constructive and actionable feedback to team members to meet both production and quality expectations.
Create action plans to help team members grow, succeed, and maintain their engagement.
Professional and effective communication with employees and internal partners to meet company objectives.
Frequent travel within your region, and some travel to the Richmond, VA office is required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College
3-5 years’ direct operations management of 6+ employees, virtual management a plus
Leadership and management skills, including the ability to prioritize and control the workload of a team, coaching, and mentoring through professional development.
Experience with creating and managing effective KPIs, along with meeting performance metrics and being results-oriented.
Ability to work in a collaborative setting.
Success in building strong, cohesive teams by leading and motivating towards action/execution through influence and collaboration.
Ability to articulate and execute corporate strategy, well-communicated with the ability to influence.
Experience and demonstrated proficiency with Excel that includes the ability to manipulate data, filter, and develop basic formulas.
Creative problem solving, attention to detail, objectivity, and the ability to think strategically.
Analytical approach with the ability to interpret information and trends, adapting quickly.
Ability to interact at all levels and establish rapport with internal stakeholders.
The ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts such as commercial real estate terminology, mapping, and GIS concepts.
Field experience is a plus.

Responsibilities Include:
Management of Reference and Research Services (80%)
Support the Senior Manager of Reference and Research in responding to staff and third party research and reference requests in a timely and professional manner, especially related to the use of digital assets for commercial, educational, and personal use.
Conduct research and factually summarize findings to support business operations and external inquiries.
Promote and facilitate the use of borrowing and interlibrary loan services. Provide administrative support to the program, including the circulation of loaned books.
Develop self-serve resources for Special Collections audiences, including research guides and training materials.
Conduct copyright research within archival and active records and assist with applying and interpreting copyright codes, coordinating with Legal when appropriate.
In coordination with Special Collections staff and legal, determine and interpret restrictions, particularly relating to institutional records.
Manage documentation and analysis of centralized reference services, supporting use by Special Collections staff and creating monthly reports in coordination with the Senior Manager of Reference and Research.
Audience Analysis and Evaluation (15%)
In coordination with Special Collections staff, analyze the demographics, behavior, and preferences of core user groups.
Determine potential strategies for improving user experience and growing Special Collections’ audiences.
Support the development of user surveys, interviews, and focus groups.

Educational Background
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum Years and Type of Experience
5+ years of progressive responsibility in an Archives, Special Collections Library, museum, law library, research library, or similar setting, with demonstrated experience providing information and resources to a diverse clientele.

Broad knowledge of National Geographic history, organization, and mission.
Strong customer service focus, with well-rounded analytical and prioritization skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Experience with digital platforms that support asynchronous collaboration and data collection

Job Designation
Resident - Our Resident category recognizes that certain staff need to be physically present at Base Camp to do their work. Some Resident staff must always be onsite to do their jobs, while others may only need to be physically present some of the time. Some Resident staff may need to come into Base Camp every day, some may need to come in to meet looming deadlines and to get work done, and others may require a more unique schedule. Job Description:
Centerstone’s Research Institute Hybrid Internship: Florida
At Centerstone’s Research Institute (CRI), we conduct research to prevent and cure mental illness and addiction. We also work to translate research into meaningful clinical practices and implement research-based strategies in real-world settings, thereby reducing the research-to-practice gap. CRI’s workforce is interdisciplinary and comprised of Physicians, Psychologists, Dissemination and Implementation Scientists, Counselor Educators, Program Evaluators, Social Workers, Public Health Advisors, Biostatisticians, Clinical Transformation Specialists, Design Thinking Experts, and others. We collaborate with Academic Medical Schools, Universities, Statewide Mental Health and Public Health Departments, and Veteran-Serving Institutions in much of our work. Centerstone’s Research Institute is a company of Centerstone, the nation’s largest nonprofit mental health company who provides community-based behavioral health care, substance-abuse treatment and intellectual and developmental disabilities services in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.
Our Interns would mostly be calling and working with clients to gather data about their experiences. This internship will provide interns with data collection, data entry and interviewing experience along with the possibility of data analysis experience as well. We will provide interns with a look into the world of evaluation and research. We look forward to hearing from you!
Intern Location: Day-to-day duties will be hybrid; two days will be in the Bradenton, FL clinic.
Intern will be based in Bradenton, Florida. Technology equipment will be provided.
Intern Duties and Responsibilities
Intern will work with evaluation team to conduct enrollment interviews with active clients following this procedure:
Contact eligible clients over the phone within seven (7) calendar days of attending their first qualifying appointment.
Obtain informed consent from client or caregiver.
Conduct required client-level service questionnaire through survey management software, if consent is provided.
Enter and maintain records in data management database.
Intern will participate as an active team member in the implementation and maintenance of grant projects (e.g., provide ongoing information from client interviews for project improvement, etc.).
Intern will work with clinical on days that they are working in the clinic to take vitals of clients; Intern is required to complete training before assisting clinical team with vital intake.
Intern will complete enrollment interviews in person as needed at the clinic.
Intern will participate in client and community engagement as needed; such as collecting data for needs assessment and enrolling clients into the community advisory committee.
Desired Skills
Willingness to gain experience in conducting interviews/assessments with behavioral health clients on the phone
Able to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, staff, and supervisors as intern will work closely with other team members
Possesses organizational skills to maintain records and coordinate other tasks as assigned
Person-centered focus; knowledge/experience in mental health and substance use
Skilled in speaking to persons of various social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds with mental and physical disorders
Willingness to learn how to use REDCap, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and other software.
Knowledge of co-occurring populations a plus
Detail-oriented with good time management and critical thinking skills
Able to listen closely and carefully
Comfort with checking understanding of what the person is saying
Ability to match and pace conversation with the person on the phone’s tone, speed and volume
Ability to avoid monotone (e.g., mix up tone, speed and volume in order to keep the person on the phone engaged)
Ability to voice gratitude for the person’s participation and give clear succinct directions and timelines for when the person will be called in the future
Creative and flexible
Internship Requirements
In the process of completing a Bachelor’s degree in social science, mental health care, communications or related field
Experience in customer services or telephonic based work a plus
This position will work the number of required hours per week in accordance with internship requirements, primarily during the day
