What you’ll achieve:
The Senior Solutions Consultant will work with the Outseer Sales team to deliver online and in person product demonstrations, presentations and expert advice. This position acts as the trusted technical advisor when engaging with customers, prospects, and partners. The primary focus is to influence potential and existing customers by explaining how Outseer’s technology meets business requirements, while collaborating and supporting Outseer’s sales team in their efforts to champion and sell Outseer products.
The Senior Solutions Consultant will be responsible for a sales territory and work with customers in the financial industry to help them fight fraud and better serve their customers by leveraging the full potential of Outseer solutions and services. It is an exciting role that would allow you to contribute to the Outseer success while growing professionally and being on the forefront of fraud management and mitigation.
You will:
· Build relationships within the account to become the trusted technical advisor.
· Use knowledge of fraud, financial services industry and Outseer products to assess and educate customers on the value of Outseer using consultative selling skills.
· Build in-depth knowledge of clients’ fraud detection priorities, challenges and initiatives and map those needs to Outseer products and services.
· Proactively assist the sales team to develop and implement specific account penetration strategies and sales plans.
· Develop relationships with the extended account team, partners, and customers in support of sales objectives. Engage and leverage company resources and personnel as appropriate. Strategize, plan and execute technical sales calls.
· Create presentations, proposals, RFx responses and documentation related to Outseer solutions and services to meet customer and sales objectives. Accurately complete top-quality presales documentation on time.
· Qualify sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding. Provide a supporting role in regional Sales and Services Leadership Meetings.
· Use knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively address customer objections to Outseer solutions.
· Working in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to be the technical bridge between the customer and Outseer to communicate relevant feedback and customer requirements.
· Take ownership of the technical relationship with customers within your sales territory to drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing and delivering relevant information to our customers both onsite and online.
· Participate in trade shows, seminars and other industry events including public speaking responsibilities.
Essential Requirements
· A Consultant mindset. Use product to solve the problem, rather than sell the product.
· 6+ years working in technical pre-sales, sales engineering or solution consulting
· Experience with authentication solutions and/or payments and/or fraud management solutions in financial services industry.
· Confident of speaking and presenting in front of senior level contacts within customers and large audiences while clearly and convincingly delivering your message.
· A strong knowledge of the internet security market threats including phishing, malware, social engineering, account takeover, scams, consumer fraud.
· Ability to manage several complex customer requirements and situations, navigate long sales cycles and efficiently handle internal and external objections.
· Ability to be a vocal and effective customer advocate to Product Management and other internal resources.
· Proven ability to effectively deliver sales results.
· Frequent international travel to Malaysia, Philippines, Japan
· Excellent written and spoken English business communication skills
Desirable Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree
· Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a changing environment
· An analytical skill set, strong presentation skills and the ability to interact with any level within an organization
· A strong knowledge of financial fraud management and fraud detection solutions.
· Technical experience with databases, application servers, Linux, and cloud infrastructures.
· Experience with SOAP and REST APIs.
· Experience with consumer-based financial or eCommerce applications.
· A strong knowledge of networking and security infrastructure devices and applications.
· Additional regional language, particularly Japanese, is a plus.
