Randstad is hiring for Abbott's Centre of Excellence in Witney for the manufacture of electrodes and biosensors used by patients and healthcare professionals for the day-to-day management of diabetes. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Strip Manufacturing team on both the rotating day shift and also night shift.

- Hours - Full Time, 40.25 hours in a week, Conti Days

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain punctuality and good timekeeping for all assigned tasks.
- Adhere to company requirements regarding behaviour and appropriate working attire.
- Work under the guidance of the Team Manager or Supervisor to execute tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Set up and operate machinery within the designated Area in line with SOPs, under the direction of the Team Manager.
- Conduct visual inspections or use specified instruments to identify material failures or imperfections as directed, following relevant SOPs.
- Collaborate with other departments as necessary to facilitate efficient workflow.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to the ADC quality system, good manufacturing practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in projects aimed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the quality system and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and Abbott standards by following EHS systems, programs, and procedures.
- Take accountability for the Health & Safety of oneself and others.
- Identify and highlight areas where improvements can be made to EHS performance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
- Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations is beneficial.
