Traineeship in Western Australia.
Start Date: February/March 2024
Location: Perth, Western Australia

Operations experience outside the oil and gas industry and or trade qualifications in a relevant discipline (eg. Mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) desirable
The ability to fulfil requirements to obtain an MSIC
A current C class driver's licence
Computer skills with the ability/interest in using new technology to achieve better outcomes.
A good level of physical fitness and commitment to maintaining your health and wellbeing.
Demonstrated commitment to Health & Safety
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Process Operator Trainee, for our next intake commencing in February/March 2024.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain valuable experience in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will participate in a comprehensive training program that will provide them with the skills, knowledge, and practical experience needed to become a qualified Operator Technician.
This is your opportunity to join a dynamic and growing industry, working at Santos WA Assets Devil Creek Gas Plant & Varanus Island. Oil and Gas offers a challenging but rewarding career where safety, production targets and plant availability must be balanced in the most efficient way.
You'll gain technical knowledge on hydrocarbon processing systems, develop skills to operate process facilities and build up a mechanical aptitude. Your training will involve both on-the-job and classroom-based learning.
This traineeship is delivered over a two year program, where you will work towards achieving a Certificate III in Process Plant Operations.
The classroom-based learning and competency will be conducted collectively. Trainees will be provided with ongoing support and mentoring throughout the program
