HUAT LAI RESOURCES BERHAD (HLRB) was incorporated in Malaysia on 12 November 1994 and was listed on Bursa Malaysia in a relatively short span of eight years on 2 July 2002.

From a modest 15-acre layer farm which produces eggs only, it has now grown to be one of the largest integrated poultry operators in Malaysia. This encapsulates the dynamic growth of HLRB which is today one of the leading producers of commercial table eggs, breeder of layer day old chicks, breeder of broiler day old chickens, broiler chickens and also further processed chicken in Malaysia.

It operates through four segments: Integrated Livestock Farming; Fertilizers and Paper Egg Trays; Animal Feed; and Others. The company offers eggs, livestocks, poultry feeds, paper egg trays, and slaughtered chicken, as well as value added poultry products and fertilizers.
