• Oversee the lifecycle management of all clinical assets, including acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise asset utilisation and reduce downtime.
• Ensure all clinical assets comply with regulatory standards and safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely availability and functionality of equipment.
• Manage contracts and relationships with external suppliers and service providers.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of clinical assets.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive digital records and reports on asset status and performance.
• Provide training and support to staff on the proper use and maintenance of clinical equipment.

1. Asset Lifecycle Management.
• Responsible forthe entire lifecycle of clinical assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
1. Procurement andSupplierManagement.
• Coordinate the procurement process forclinical assetsand supplies, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, andpurchasing. Cultivate relationships with suppliersand internal procurement departmentsto ensuretimelydelivery of high-quality assets at competitive prices.
1. Inventory Management.
• Maintainaccuraterecords of clinical assets, includingancillarystock levels, locations, and usage.Maintain assetmanagement systems to optimise stock levels, minimise waste, and ensure adequate supply for emergency response activities.
1. PlannedMaintenance.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for clinical assets to ensureoptimalperformance and compliance with safety standards. Coordinate equipment servicing, repairs, and calibration to minimise downtime andmaintainoperational readiness.
1. Regulatory Compliance.
• Stay informed about regulatory requirements related toclinical assetsand device management. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines governing the maintenance, testing, and documentation of clinical assets.
1. Asset Tracking.
• Implementandmaintainasset tracking systems tomonitorthe location, condition, and usage of clinical assets throughout their lifecycle. Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify asset integrity,identifydiscrepancies, and address any issues promptly.
1. Training and Education.
• Provide training and education tostaff members on the proper use, care, and maintenance of clinical assetsand technical maintenance equipment. Develop educational materials, conduct training sessions, and offer support to ensure staff competency and adherence toequipment carebest practices.
1. Quality Assurance.
• Establishandmaintainquality assurance processes to assess the performance and reliability of clinical assets. Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyse trends, and implement corrective actions to improve asset performance and reliability.
1. Collaboration and Communication.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including clinical teams, procurement specialists, andlogisticsmanagers, to coordinate asset management activities. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address issues, share information, and support organisational goals.
• Present and brief to the executive team; department updates,performanceand strategic plans.
1. Budget Management.
• Responsible for thecomplexClinical Equipment Budgetand the development of budgets and financial plans for clinical asset management activities. Monitor expenses, track costs, andidentifyopportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
