•          He/ She reports directly to the Retail Manager.

•          The role is to administer the Retail Department in its daily operations.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting Retail Manager to execute all festive season food and beverage offerings, including but not limited to: Chinese New Year, Rice Dumplings/Dragon Boat Festival, Mooncake/Mid-Autumn Festival, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
• To liaise with other departments in order to support retail operations. 
• Guided by the Retail Manager to manage online, third-party, off-site platforms, and other channels to maximize sales performance.

• To respond to guest enquiries or concerns in a timely manner.
• Check cleanliness of retail area, product storage, and ensure sufficient stock of condiments at all times.
• Possess good food & beverage knowledge and perform upselling constantly through active recommendation or suggestive selling during order taking.
• Perform Cash/Bank Handling procedures:
• Process all payment methods in accordance with accounting procedures and policies.
• Follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures (e.g., blind drops).
• Count bank at the beginning of shift to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
• Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any 
  discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
• Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies, obtaining change required for expected business level, and keeping bank secure at all times.
• Transport bank to/from assigned workstation, following security procedures.
• Obtain manual authorizations and follow all accounting procedures when computer system is down.
• Set up and organize cashier workstation with designated supplies, forms, and 
• resource materials; and maintain cleanliness of workstation at all times.
• Ensure proper hand over on the retail booth set up and tear down according to the retail manager and hotel’s directions.
• Maintain good guests and associates’ relations.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and know regular guests’ special requirements/preferences; follow up with guests constantly for any order, request, or requirement.
• To be responsible for maintaining hotel’s assets and uphold high standards in discipline.
• Focus on Marriott’s “Spirit to Serve” as a way of improving standards and service for our guests and internal customers

JOB EXPECTATIONS

• Minimum Diploma in Food & Beverage Services / F&BRetail Services / Hospitality & Tourism Management or a related field.
• Experience in project management preferred
• Proficiency in using basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Office, and potentially hotel-specific software (e.g., Micros, Opera) is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with guests, team members, and management.

They are currently looking for an Operations Executive who will be supporting their Business Development Department in processing orders and coordinating deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong product knowledge through inhouse training
• Efficiently execute daily operations with short cycle times
• Perform vital duties for the functioning of the daily operations system.
• Assist in the training of new operations executives
• Process Customer Confirmation Orders and prepare relevant documents
• Coordinate deliveries
• Follow-up on matters and queries to ensuring orders are successfully fulfilled
• Man the call desk and perform phone duty

Responsibilities

• Understand contract requirements and M&E specifications in order to monitor progress, quality of workmanship and comply with project requirements and construction schedule
• Liaise with design consultants on the design intent, review M&E design drawings and advise on any under provisions and over provisions
• Coordinate with in-house architectural, civil and structural team to minimize discrepancies
• Check and prepare material sample with shop drawing submission
• Manage M&E subcontractors work progress, shop drawings, materials, samples, method statements submissions, and approval
• Attend M&E coordination meeting, prepare M&E coordination drawings and liaise with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers for drawing issuance
• Ensure good M&E drawing management and the control of M&E documentation and filing on site
• Ensure timely production and submission of M&E shop drawings, materials submission and method statements
• Lead and mange M&E package delivery, construction and testing and commissioning activities
• Ensure all M&E site activities are well-planned, well-coordinated and on time
• Work with the planners on the project schedule
• Coordinate and assist site superintendent on installation and maintenance of site temporary utilities services
• Coordinate with all M&E stakeholders to ensure work is carried out in accordance with the approved shop drawings, materials and method statements
• Conduct pre-inspection with subcontractors prior to facilitation RE and RTO inspection
• Carryout testing and commissioning activities at work site for both mechanical & electrical aspects
• Update and follow up on variation order with client and consultant
• Understanding in details of both mechanical and electrical systems

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering recognised by PE Board / BCA, or relevant M&E accreditation recognised by PE Board/BCA
• At least 8 years’ experience in Building Engineering projects
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for a senior role
• Experience with prefabricated MEP system projects will have an added advantage
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCad, and BIM
• Organised, meticulous with positive work attitude
• Able to work independently and a team player
• Good analytical, supervision and communication skills
• Completed QM project and a registered Core-trade Foremen/Supervisor would be an added advantage
