• Assist senior management in evaluating incoming RFQs and assigning them to the team.
• Oversee and support the full tendering process, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, and commercial requirements.
• Ensure billing complies with contractual terms and purchase orders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Attend and lead daily and weekly commercial meetings.
• Handle contractual disputes and negotiate settlement agreements.
• Oversee and maintain commercial databases, masterlists, and ERP systems.
• Prepare handover documentation for awarded tenders.
• Review and approve Purchase Orders (PO) and Work Orders (WO).
• Source, evaluate, and appoint subcontractors in collaboration with operations.
• Manage variation orders and change requests during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with WorkplaceSafety and Health (WSH) policies and statutory requirements.
• Provide guidance on integrating WSH considerations into tendering and subcontractor engagements.
• Support service reports and other commercial documentation as required.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as MRICS, PMP, or equivalent will be advantageous.
• 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in commercial management, contracts, or procurement.
• Strong background in tendering, RFQs, and contract negotiations.
• Experience in the marine, construction, engineering, or oil & gas industries is preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in managing commercial teams.
• Familiarity with financial reporting, compliance, and ERP systems.
