The Satellite Controller will be part of a 24/7 operations team supporting satellite control and manoeuvre activities. This role involves monitoring satellite systems, supporting mission operations, and responding to operational anomalies.
Make an impact by
- Provide 24/7 shift support for satellite manoeuvre operations.
- Monitor the health and performance of satellite systems and subsystems throughout the mission lifecycle.
- Support routine flight operations and assist in the investigation and resolution of anomalies.
- Assist in ground segment operations and issue resolution.
- Perform satellite tracking, telemetry monitoring, and control functions within the Satellite Control Centre.
Skills For Success
- Diploma in Satellite Communications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field from a recognised institution.
- Candidates with relevant experience and demonstrated competencies will also be considered.
- Basic knowledge of satellite communications and telemetry systems.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic operational environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to respond to operational scenarios.
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift-based environment.
