What The Role Is
ISD confronts and addresses threats to Singapore’s internal security and stability. For over 75 years, ISD and its predecessor organisations have played a central role in countering threats such as those posed by foreign subversive elements, spies, racial and religious extremists, and terrorists. What You Will Be Working On
- To conduct research regarding Internet behaviours and phenomena, in areas such as terrorism and violent extremism.
- To produce tactical reports when security-related incidents happen and strategic assessments of recurring incidents.
What We Are Looking For
- Analytical reasoning, data synthesis and analysis
- Self-driven and motivated individual with an interest in local and regional current affairs
- Able to work independently or in a team
- Good research and writing skills, and comfortable working with large volumes of research data
- Competent in using both current and evolving digital tools and analytics
- Competent in navigating the web and has an interest in web technologies
