Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Monitor database performance, implement tuning, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
- Manage backups, restores, and data security across environments.
- Support database design, migrations, and automation activities.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and optimization.
Skills & Requirements:
- Proficiency in database administration, performance tuning, and SQL scripting.
- Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or GCP).
- Knowledge of backup strategies, clustering, and replication.
- Strong understanding of security and compliance standards.
- Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Certifications such as Oracle DBA, Microsoft SQL Server, or AWS Database Specialty are a plus.
