ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead a large-scale Securities Platform Transformation initiative, focusing on a front-to-back implementation or migration of a Calypso platform supporting Cash Equity and Listed Derivatives businesses.

This is a strategic transformation role where you will drive the end-to-end study, business analysis, target operating model, migration planning, governance, and delivery across multiple business and technology teams. The ideal candidate combines deep capital markets domain expertise with strong functional knowledge of the Calypso platform and a proven track record leading complex transformation programs within global investment banks or securities services organizations.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead the end-to-end study and business transformation for a Calypso Securities platform implementation or migration, covering Cash Equity and Listed Derivatives across the full trade lifecycle.
  • Act as the functional lead for Calypso, partnering with business and technology teams to define target-state processes, solution design, and platform capabilities.
  • Perform front-to-back business analysis and produce key deliverables including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, gap analyses, and target architecture documentation.
  • Drive the design and integration of Calypso with upstream and downstream systems, including pre-trade platforms, clearing, settlement, custody, corporate actions, and regulatory reporting.
  • Define and own migration, testing, and cutover strategies for the Calypso transformation, ensuring successful implementation with minimal business disruption.
  • Lead program governance by managing project planning, steering committees, risk management, budget tracking, and IT project lifecycle (PLC) activities.
  • Collaborate with Front Office, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and external vendors to ensure Calypso solutions align with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide functional guidance and challenge solution designs to ensure the Calypso platform is configured to support business objectives and industry best practices.


About You


  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience within Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Securities Services, with strong exposure to Cash Equity and Listed Derivatives.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale securities platform transformation, implementation, or migration programs as a Study Lead, Program Manager, or Functional Lead.
  • Strong functional knowledge of the Calypso platform, particularly across securities booking, settlement, custody, and corporate actions processing.
  • Solid understanding of the complete securities trade lifecycle, including pre-trade, execution, clearing, settlement, custody, and post-trade operations.
  • Experience producing BRDs, gap analyses, target architecture documentation, and business transformation deliverables.
  • Demonstrated experience owning migration strategy, testing strategy, governance, and executive stakeholder management within large financial institutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage business, technology, and executive leadership teams.
