Job Description
- Oversee end-to-end 3PL and logistics operations, ensuring efficient delivery execution, inventory accuracy, warehouse performance, and continuous process improvement.
- Lead demand planning and inventory management, including forecasting, stock optimisation, and S&OP reporting to support business performance and minimise stock risks.
- Manage customer service and after-sales operations, driving service excellence, resolving escalations, and improving SOPs and response standards.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery, effective risk management, and proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage contractor and service provider relationships, including performance evaluation, resource planning, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Lead and develop the operations team, setting clear objectives, driving performance, and fostering continuous improvement across functions.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in operations management, demand planning, and third-party logistics (3PL), preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and drive performance against operational goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve operational performance.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and related functions); familiarity with ERP systems and Salesforce is an advantage.
- Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma considered a plus.
