Decent Pay for Field Techs, Benefits Just Okay
Pros: As a Field Service Technician, the hourly wage is pretty competitive for the elevator and escalator industry. You get a company vehicle, which saves on gas and wear and tear. The 401k match is solid after you've been there a bit.
Cons: Health insurance premiums are super high, especially if you have a family. Raises aren't amazing; they're usually just cost-of-living adjustments. The bonus structure isn't very transparent for us **onsite** roles.
Advice to Management: Look into ways to lower health insurance costs for employees. Make the bonus system clearer for field service roles, as transparency goes a long way.
