Work-life balance is okay, depends on your team
Pros: Working from home is awesome, honestly. The WFH flexibility lets me manage my life better, which is a huge benefit for sales roles on the CRM platform. We also get solid PTO, which helps you actually disconnect.
Cons: Quarter-end can be brutal for an Account Executive; expect some seriously long weeks. It's tough to consistently keep to 40 hours when client demands ramp up. There's pressure to always be available, which is common in big tech.
Advice to Management: Try to find ways to protect sales teams from burnout, especially during peak periods. Encourage managers to truly support disconnecting.

Culture's good, but definitely changing now
Pros: I've been a Senior Software Engineer here for a while. The company culture used to be awesome. We had a real Ohana vibe, especially for remote employees. It felt like a solid tech company where people genuinely cared.
Cons: Lately, it feels more corporate and less personal. There's less focus on individual team connection. It's getting harder to feel integrated in this big tech environment. The CRM industry can be demanding, and that pressure sometimes makes the culture suffer.
Advice to Management: Try to bring back some of that original Ohana feel. Connect more with individual teams, not just broad initiatives. Remember what made Salesforce's company culture special.

Decent flexibility for a big tech company
Pros: Working from home is a huge plus for this Account Executive role. I can set my own sales calls and manage my client relationships without being tied to an office. The remote work setup for this enterprise software giant really helps my work-life balance.
Cons: Even with good work flexibility, there are still a ton of mandatory meetings. It's tough to truly disconnect when your calendar is packed. Some days, it feels like WFH just means you're always on call, which isn't ideal for a sales professional.
Advice to Management: Try to cut down on the required internal meetings. It would really help with actual work-life balance, especially for remote Account Executives trying to manage their own schedules and client calls.
