Cons: The work-life balance isn't always there. It's a big tech company, so things move really fast. There's a lot of pressure to deliver quickly. Sometimes, the internal communication across teams could be better, making it tough to align on goals.
Advice to Management: Try to ease up on the constant pressure for immediate deliverables. Better cross-team communication would help avoid bottlenecks and burnout.

Pros: I've seen some really strong technical leadership, especially within the senior engineering ranks at this big tech company. They really get the nitty-gritty of network security and performance. There's good mentorship if you find the right people.
Cons: Middle management can be a real struggle. Communication often feels unclear, especially for us remote employees. It's tough to get clear direction sometimes.
Advice to Management: Please give more support and training to managers, especially new ones. Clearer communication about company direction would help everyone, not just as a Staff Software Engineer.
