Pros: The remote work flexibility is really good for a tech startup. As a Software Engineer, I could largely manage my own schedule, which made personal life much easier. They genuinely support WFH options and don't micro-manage your hours.
Cons: Communication can be a bit scattered across time zones, which is a common issue with a fully remote team. Sometimes you're expected to be available for meetings during specific core hours, which might not suit everyone's ideal flexible schedule. It's an early-stage company, so processes are still pretty loose.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize communication channels and set clearer expectations for core meeting times for remote staff. A bit more structure would help everyone.
