Long hours often impact work-life balance
Pros: I've learned so much about RF engineering and embedded systems here. The tech is genuinely interesting, and I get to work on cool projects. There's good potential for growth if you put in the time.
Cons: Work-life balance here is tough. Expect to put in 50-60 hour weeks regularly, especially when deadlines loom. It's hard to maintain a personal life with the constant pressure in a hybrid work model.
Advice to Management: You need to seriously look at the workload expectations for engineers, especially for Software Engineer roles. Burnout is real, and it affects morale and productivity. More realistic project timelines would help a lot with work-life balance.
