Pros: I really appreciated the remote work setup; it made my daily life much easier. As a Data Analyst, I worked on some challenging data analytics projects, which was great for skill building. The pay for this mid-sized IT consulting firm was decent too.
Cons: Job security was my biggest concern here. Projects could end suddenly, and re-staffing wasn't always a smooth process for us remote employees. It felt like you always needed to be looking over your shoulder.
Advice to Management: Improve communication around project pipelines and overall company stability. Clearer pathways for consultants would help job security concerns.
