Good flexibility, but it's team-dependent
Pros: I've enjoyed the hybrid work model here, especially for Clinical Research Associate roles. It's nice to have some WFH days for tasks that don't need to be onsite. This is pretty solid for the pharmaceutical industry.
Cons: Sometimes, true flexibility depends a lot on your direct manager. Not all teams fully embrace the hybrid model, which can be tough. Onsite expectations vary wildly.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize the hybrid policy across all departments more clearly. Some managers aren't fully onboard, impacting employee work-life and perceived fairness.

Pay's okay, but benefits are solid here.
Pros: The health insurance is top-notch, truly. They offer a solid 401k match, which is a big deal in the pharmaceutical industry. WFH setup is great too.
Cons: Base pay felt a little low for the Boston, MA market. Raises aren't huge unless you jump roles. Don't expect massive bonuses either.
Advice to Management: Review the base salaries for certain remote roles, especially for experienced Clinical Research Coordinators. It's tough to attract top talent in competitive markets when pay isn't quite there.

Solid culture, but it can be slow
Pros: The teams are usually very collaborative. People are genuinely nice and willing to help out, which is great for new CRAs. You also get good exposure to different areas of drug development in this global company.
Cons: The big pharma bureaucracy is real. Decisions take ages, and sometimes good ideas get lost in the shuffle. It's tough when you're working remote and trying to push projects forward, especially with all the red tape.
Advice to Management: Try to empower teams more and speed up decision-making processes. Cut down on some of the unnecessary layers of approval to keep employees engaged.
