Pros: I've learned a lot about complex reinsurance claims here as a Claims Specialist. The team in the Stamford, CT office is really solid, and we do get good benefits. The hybrid model for work is decent too.
Cons: Leadership can feel out of touch sometimes. There's not a lot of clear direction, which makes it tough for junior folks to grow. Decision-making is often slow, which impacts our daily work in the reinsurance industry.
Advice to Management: Try to be more transparent with your long-term vision. Empower managers to make decisions faster. It would really help people on the ground feel more connected and motivated.

Pros: I liked the hybrid model they had. As a Reinsurance Analyst, I could work remote a couple of days a week. That really helped with my commute into the city.
Cons: The flexibility isn't totally consistent across all teams. Some managers are stricter about coming into the office. It can feel a bit arbitrary for our actuarial science work.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize flexible work policies across departments. It would help a lot with morale for those in the insurance industry.
