Pay is decent, but benefits could use a boost
Pros: Base salary for a Process Engineer is pretty competitive, especially compared to other roles in the semiconductor industry in the Wilmington, MA area. We get decent equity grants, which is a big plus. The 401k match is solid too, helping with long-term planning.
Cons: Healthcare premiums feel high, and the deductibles are a real hit to the wallet. It's tough when you need to use it. There aren't many "extra" perks you'd find at bigger tech companies; benefits feel pretty standard, not generous.
Advice to Management: Look into lowering healthcare costs for employees. More comprehensive benefits would help attract and retain top talent in this competitive semiconductor space.

Decent Benefits, Pay Growth is Slow
Pros: The health insurance is solid, which is a big deal. They offer a good 401k match too. For a mid-sized company in the semiconductor industry, the overall benefits package for Process Engineer roles is pretty standard and reliable.
Cons: Salary progression feels really slow once you're past entry-level. It's tough to get significant raises. Don't expect big tech compensation, especially if you're working onsite at the Wilmington, MA office.
Advice to Management: Please re-evaluate the compensation structure, especially for seasoned engineers. We're falling behind competitors in pay, which makes retention a challenge. Transparency on bonus metrics would also help.

Decent Pay but Benefits Could Be Better
Pros: The base salary for a Process Engineer is pretty competitive, especially in the Chandler, AZ office. They do offer a 401k match, which is a big plus. It's a stable job in the semiconductor equipment space.
Cons: Health insurance plans aren't the best; deductibles are high. There isn't much flexibility for remote work for my role, so it's always onsite. Annual raises are usually on the lower side, making it tough to keep up with inflation.
Advice to Management: Look into improving the health insurance options for employees. Also, consider more competitive annual raise structures, especially for long-term Process Engineers.
